The NFPA has made it mandatory that USERS of filters in the paper industry must provide Explosion Venting for the Filter Body or Dirty Side of the filter. They must also provide a Suppression or Isolation System if they bring the cleaned air back into the plant and there are other requirements as well. The "Police", so to speak, defined by the NFPA is the "Authority Having Jurisdiction" or AHJ. The AHJ can be your Insurance Company, OSHA, your Local Fire Chief or Local City or County Planners.
